Ginger's Story

This gentle lady came to me with her 4 kittens. The original plan for her was TNR (which is why the tip of her ear is missing), but she was way too sweet and docile to be put back on the streets. It’s clear from her temperament that she grew up with a family before being abandoned - she definitely didn’t grow up feral on the streets. Like most unfixed female cat abandoned outside to fend for themselves, she was beaten up by the colony ferals and is so grateful to be off the streets.

She was an amazing mom, but now it’s time for her to be the baby! She’s incredibly sweet and loves love, though she’s a little timid at first. But don’t worry - she doesn’t doesn’t run away and hide, she doesn’t hiss or swipe, and she doesn’t act out - she just puts her head down and closes her eyes. But once you start petting her or scratching her head, she leans hard into your hand, looks up lovingly at you, and will crawl into your lap.

She doesn’t like dogs, but she has no reaction to other cats.

She craves love and attention so badly, and you can feel the gratitude and happiness flowing out of her when you give her love. She’s so special, and it has been such a privilege to show her the love and safety she deserves. She has SO much love to give, and she melts the heart of everyone who meets her.

To see lots of pictures and videos of this cutie, check out @HereHaveAKitten on Instagram.

*** All HHAK cats are spayed/neutered, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated as part of the adoption fee.
