Ginger's Story

My name is Ginger, I'm a 4-year-old orange beauty with a spice for life and an attitude that can be just as spicy! I was featured in USA Today for my journey with feline hyperesthesia syndrome, which is now under control and well-managed! Yay!

I love lounging by the window to watch birds, playing on my own terms (especially if there's cat nip involved), clawing up a good tall scratcher where I can practice my yoga poses, and relaxing in a calm, quiet home.

My ideal home will be one with an experienced cat parent who does not have any other pets where I can feel comfortable being my spunky self. In addition to my special behavioral needs, I will also need a home that can accommodate my special medical needs as well. CCS staff will be more than thrilled to go over all of my needs to any potential adopters who can look past my quirks and see my true purr-sonality!

Meet a Lonely Hearts Club Member!

Looking for an extra-special kitty? Our Lonely Hearts Club highlights cats who deserve a little extra love and attention. These cats may be overlooked because of their age, medical or behavioral needs, or simply haven't found the right home yet but they all have so much love to give.
