Ginger's Story
UPDATE: Ginger was returned after her former owner could no longer care for her. She is healthy, happy and doing great!

Ginger is a relaxed and loving spayed female Domestic long-haired Cat who is looking for a new home. We believe she is between 5-7 years old. She originally came to us as a stray so we do not have any information about her background. She did really well in her adopted home, and is very affectionate, kind-hearted and easygoing. She has beautiful big brown eyes, is litter-box trained and loves to interact with people. She is good with older children, but we are unsure how she is with dogs. Ginger was a great mom who had 3 beautiful kittens of her own and fostered 2 others. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
