Ginger's Story

Ginger's story has a sad beginning. She was found shortly after giving birth to a litter of five kittens in a drug addicts house. She was skinny and very scared when she came to me with her five kittens. I was so impressed on what a loving mom she was. When her kittens were adopted out, I fostered a new batch of motherless kittens. Well, Ginger stepped in and became their mom! This is a remarkable thing for a cat to do! It shows how loving and amazing she is.

It took time to win her trust. My home was new to her and she was in protective mom mode but with lots of love, kindness, patience and Churu treats she started coming out of her shell! I believe Ginger may have been abused. She has been in my care for months and still slightly flinches when I try to pet her. However, once you have her trust she is your best friend! She loves attention and belly rubs. She has blossomed into an amazing cat and she's no longer skinny....she loves the kitty snacks!

I would adopt Ginger and have her as a part of my family but she does not like other cats....at all. Ginger requires an ONLY one cat home with someone who has the time to be patient with her and win her trust. Please consider adding Ginger to your family. She is so deserving of her happy ending. I love her so much and want the absolute best for her.

She comes spayed and fully vetted. Adoption fee applies. Please go to jemezanglecatrescue.com to fill out an application
