Gina's Story

Gina is a sweet little lady, approximately 2-3 years old. Gina loves spending time with her human companions, especially if a gentle rub or petting is part of that time. And, she loves other kitties too! In fact, Gina is a real hit with her other kitty friends in the adoption center.

If you look closely, you might notice that Gina walks with a slight limp. Our Vet believes that either in birth or shortly thereafter, Gina may have sustained a minor injury which weakened one of her back legs. Later, when she was rescued we discovered that Gina had spent most of her young life housed in a crate/cage - 24/7 - which clearly did not give that leg normal exercise and the opportunity to grow stronger. Unfortunately, the lack of exercise and poor diet also contributed to some unnecessary weight gain, which Gina is now trying to lose.

Never fear, despite this minor imperfection doesn't slow Gina down and causes her no pain; it's just one of her unique characteristics and also makes her extra special!!

Gina's unfortunate beginnings mean that she is especially deserving of a family or single to call her very own. She certainly would love to find a warm spot right next to you in bed or on the couch! (No wonder she craves people attention and likes the company, too!

Gina is spayed, up to date of her shots and has tested negative for FIV and FELV.

Stop by our adoption center inside the Boca Raton PetSmart during the week or on the weekend during our adoption event - the time is now for Gina to find that special someone!
