Gina's Story

Beautiful, fluffy Gina is over shelter life! This pretty lady came to us pregnant and very untrusting of humans. She was a wonderful mother and has slowly let her guard down around us humans and now it’s her turn to find a new home. Gina’s tough exterior melts around other cats and she seems to really enjoy their company. Sometimes it takes her a bit to warm up to the other cats, but when she does, she’s super happy to have a friend. Gina also loves to play and will bat around her toys when she thinks no one’s looking.

Gina can still be a bit feisty and wary of people/affection. She is making progress, but she will need a patient, understanding adopter who will let her acclimate and blossom on her own time. Gina would really do best with a cat friend in the home.

Gina is about 2-3 years old. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She would do best in a quieter home without young children.

Please contact staff at (401) 294-2754 or email animalshelter@exeterri.gov for more information on our adoption process. Please do NOT apply through Petfinder.
