Meet Gilrean (aka Gilly) 🐾<br/><br/>After spending the last couple of months being the ultimate "Super Mom," Gilrean—affectionately known as Gilly—is officially hanging up her parenting hat and looking for a promotion to "Beloved Family Member."<br/><br/>Gilly came to us through our wonderful partners at Spay Our Strays along with her litter of four kittens. She did an incredible job raising them, but now that her babies have flown the nest, Gilly has decided it’s finally her turn to be the baby of the house.<br/><br/>Her Personality<br/><br/>Gilly is a professional cuddler, if there is a warm spot on the couch and a human nearby, Gilly will be there. She is deeply affectionate and lives for quiet moments of connection.. While she spent her recent past looking out for others, her true passion is finding a warm lap and a human to call her own.<br/><br/>You won’t have to wonder if she’s happy; Gilly pays her rent in loud purrs and rhythmic "biscuits" (kneading).<br/><br/>While she’d flourish in a quiet home where she can nap undisturbed, she’s a resilient girl who would adapt beautifully to a more active household, provided she has a safe spot to retreat to.<br/><br/>Ideal Home<br/><br/>Gilly isn't asking for much—just a life where she is kept safe, fed well, and loved unconditionally.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will appreciate every ounce of love you give her, Gilly is waiting to meet you. She’s spent her life taking care of everyone else—now it’s your turn to take care of her.<br/><br/>Gilly is currently in a foster home, recovering from mastitis, an inflammation of the mammary glands. She is improving rapidly and won't have any lasting impacts.
