Gilligan's Story

Please read Gilligan's profile before proceeding with inquiries. Also, we ask that you visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment (walk-in hours are also available). www.ggohinc.com

Gilligan was brought to GGOH after a kind and caring woman took him in from the outdoors, concerned about the falling temperatures that were upon us. While he has been with us for quite some time, we're still hopeful that there is someone out there somewhere who understands cats like him and will give him a home to just be himself with no pressure to be something he's not. He needs a home where it is okay if he's not a lap cat, is mostly independent from humans, and is allowed to go along at his own pace. He would also do best in a home where there is at least one other cat for him to be social with. Gilligan has great potential but he will need an adopter that is understanding and patient, giving him ample time to adjust to his new surroundings.

Due to his shy personality, we would recommend a home with no children.

Gilligan is certainly not everyone's cup of tea but we know there is someone out there that understands and can accept him as he is. If you think you have a home/family that would be ideal for Gilligan, why not stop in and meet him - give him a chance to know what a family and a home full of love really feels like.

Gilligan's DOB is 3/9/18.
