Giles's Story

Meet Giles!

And honestly... it's about time this guy gets the spotlight he deserves. Giles has been with us for 546 days, making him our longest-stay cat. He's shy, quiet, diabetic and too polite to demand attention, which means he often gets overlooked. This chill guy loves sunbeams, soft pets, and-plot twist-playing with the kittens like he's the fun uncle at a family reunion. In a home, he'd be the easiest companion: calm, gentle, and happy just existing peacefully by your side.

Giles does take daily diabetes medication, but don't let that scare you off. To help him start his new life, Al-Van will provide a three-month supply of his diabetes meds for whoever gives him the forever home he's been waiting way too long for.

If you want to make his birthday wish come true, submit an adoption application at al-van.org/adopt. Four years old, 546 days waiting... let's make sure this is the last birthday he celebrates in a shelter.
