Gilbert (Spirit Cat)

Gilbert is looking for a quiet, adult home where he can be the only pet and form a close bond with his person. He enjoys playing with toys, relaxing in sunny spots, and spending time with the people he trusts. He'll do best with patient adopters who understand that he'll need time and space to adjust before his affectionate side shines through.

Gilbert should start in one small room with all of his essentials and a safe hiding place while he settles in. He can be nervous during thunderstorms and will benefit from a calm, predictable routine and an owner willing to work with his unique personality, including helping him prepare for veterinary visits. With patience and understanding, Gilbert will make a loyal companion.
