Gigi's Story
Meet Gigi, a lovely older girl who came to us after living as a longtime stray in the courtyard of a housing complex. She lived outdoors with Buddy, another cat in our care, who had been dumped outside a few years ago. Several residents fed both cats but did not allow them indoors. Our vet estimates that Gigi is around 8-10 years old. She is a lap cat and loves attention.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
