Gibson's Story
Meet Gibson, a gorgeous, affectionate, smart, young house panther with a sleek shimmery coat, stunning chartreuse eyes and sweet disposition.

His rescue journey began back in early November when he showed up at our townhouse complex, hungry and wary of his surroundings. We suspect he was either abandoned or dumped in the area.

After an exhaustive search to find his possible family, he was taken to the vet for his neuter, vaccines and combo-test (FIV/FeLV = negative).

This boy was so friendly and loving from the onset but we also suspect he was mistreated in his young life, perhaps manhandled. He was a little reactive, at first, if held tightly or in a confined position. So, I gave him all the space he needed to adjust and trust... which only took a few days.

He now hops right up into my lap for cuddles and he begins kneading his front paws. He does purr but it's not loud. I'm guessing the more relaxed and confident he becomes, the volume will increase.

Gibson also reacts very strongly to the presence of other cats so I'm not sure if he is needing more time to adjust or should be the only cat (pet) at home. For this reason, I think he'd be okay going to a home where he's a solo companion.

You'll find his rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #36 on our Facebook page: Save The Leadwell Kitties. There you'll find ALL our rescued cats and kittens, including updates from fosters and adopters.

Gibson's adoption will include his:
* Neuter surgery,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination,
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with NexGard Spectra),
* and Microchipping

~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~

* Please only contact us if you'll be making this boy a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors.

*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).

Interested in becoming a much-needed foster?
