Gia's Story

Gia is a friendly and affectionate kitty, estimated to be about 2 years old. She came into our care after living outdoors and is very happy with this new comfortable indoor lifestyle.

Gia's favourite activity is curling up on a soft blanket on her foster's bed. She lets you know how happy she is with her very loud purr (she has a surprisingly loud purr for such a tiny cat)! Gia also loves to snuggle - both with cat sister and her foster. She is extremely affectionate, and is particularly fond of scratches on her cheeks, head, and even her belly when she shows it to you.

Although she takes a few days to get used to new surroundings, Gia is confident and likes to explore. She is also very curious and loves to watch the world around her from a high perch or a windowsill.

Gia likes to play with catnip toys and anything she can chase, like long ropes and thick ribbons. She also loves all kinds of food and treats - she gets very excited for breakfast time. While she is quiet most of the time, breakfast brings out her tiny adorable meow.

Gia enjoys the company of another cat in the home, particularly someone who will play chase with her. Gia would like to be adopted with her sister Maggie. If this isn't possible she would also be happy with another young, friendly cat as a companion.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada.
