Gia's Story

Hey there, I'm Gia. Or as my foster parents call me "G- G- G- G- GIA" (like the chia pet commercials). I'm a big snuggly attention-hog who likes to steal the spotlight from everyone around me. If you're loving on a cat, I'll be right there to push them away and force you to pet me instead; if you're watching tv, I'm climbing up your chest to lay in front of your face. I cannot be ignored.

I'm also very picky about how you pet me. Do it wrong, and I'll release my scratchy-throated meow and stick my tongue in and out, so you better do it right. By the way, right = only touching my head, chest, and shoulders. Everything else is wrong, unless you're using a brush, in which case nothing is off limits. And no, it's not confusing, you're just not smart enough to comprehend my complex system. Don't worry, I'll guide you through it.

I'm not really a fan of other cats, they tend to take the attention off of me. Just look at how stunning I am, can you blame me for wanting to be the only one in your life? Some things I do like are being brushed, eating treats, and rolling around in catnip.

If you think you've got what it takes to handle all this, please apply to adopt me. I'd love to find a person (or people) to call my own.
