Gertie the Turtie

Please meet Gertie the Turtie! She may be tiny, but her personality is mighty. She is weighing in around 4 lbs and beyond adorable. She was found as a stray hiding under a dumpster at our vet’s office. It was extremely hot outside and she she is one lucky little girl to have made it to safety. She may have been a little street urchin, but she has loved being an indoor kitty with toys, food and water readily available. She loves playing with other kitty friends and snuggling and rubbing you whenever she can. She is still a little bit shy, but is learning what love is all about. She is litter box trained and is a very typical little kitten. She loves string, fish toys, jingle bell balls and other super fun kitty toys. Our animals are fostered in various locations in the a South and in New England. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need. <br/><br/>If you are interested in one of our animals, please complete an application.
