She's curious and loves exploring every corner of her space, chasing toys, batting shiny objects, and soaking up sunbeams by the windows. Whether she's playfully rolling around with a ball or lounging on the couch, Geri is a joy to watch.<br/><br/>She enjoys cuddles on her own terms and is happy to be picked up, but doesn't require constant attention-perfect for someone who wants a companion who's affectionate yet independent. Geri has a quirky side too: she's a little scared of moving alpaca slippers, possibly thinking the stuffed animals are real!<br/><br/>Geri has not met other cats, dogs, or children, so introductions would need to be slow and patient. She's fully litter trained, loves couches and beds, and her mix of active and chill moments makes her adaptable to many household types.<br/><br/>She does have a minor allergy/asthma issue, but it's manageable and hasn't slowed her down-she's still her playful, loving self. We can only rescue as many animals as available foster homes. Please consider saving the life of an animal in need and become a volunteer foster home today. To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website: www.twincitiespetrescue.org . There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!<br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue will consider adoption applicants from many parts of the country. However, preference will always be given to applicants within 100 miles of the TCPR office in Maplewood, MN.
