Gerard's Story

Gerard was a friendly stray being cared for outside for about 8 months when the caretaker noticed he had an injury. He was brought in, vetted, and is feeling much better! Now that he's finished his antibiotics and healed up, he's ready to stay inside with his new forever family.

He's a large guy (tall and long) with a tiny voice who gives love nibbles. He's a little camera shy. The fastest way to his heart is through brushing. He also enjoys butt scritches, Temptations cat treats, and bird watching. Gerard is not big on wet food but does enjoy chicken as a special treat. The vet estimated his age to be 5 years old.

He took a couple of weeks to warm up to his foster and will need his person/people to be patient and give him the time he needs to feel safe. We will provide a tip sheet on how to help him feel more comfortable in his new home upon adoption.

Gerard has been neutered, vaccinated, SNAP tested (negative), vetted, treated for fleas, dewormed, and microchipped. He's ready for his person/people and deserves to be spoiled!
