Georgie's Story
If you cross an angry sheep and a moody cow, do you get an animal that’s in a baaad moood? My name, Georgie, comes from a Greek word that means “farmer.” I’m not exactly in a bad mood, but I have been nervous. I don’t think anyone blames me. A lot of us cats feel that way. Thirty of us came with several other animals from a hoarding situation in early September. It’s a relief, but I still feel frightened being in an unfamiliar place. There are different people and sounds that I’m not used to, so I hide in my kennel. I do like when people pet me, though. They’re like farmers sowing seeds of kindness. When they pet me, I know the seeds are already beginning to grow. Don’t give up on me! – Georgie.

Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
