GEORGIE's Story

GEORGIE is an adorable 2 year old WHITE AND GREY DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR female cat who has beautiful green eyes. She is fully vetted including spayed, has her rabies and distemper vaccines, microchipped and is dewormed.

Georgie came to SPCR because she was living in an apartment with too many kitties. Georgie is a friendly girl who likes attention and to be pet, but she is not a lap cat at this time. She is good with other cats, but should not be with cats that are weak or fearful. She would also be great as an only cat. She would do fine with a cat-friendly dog as well as older children.

Georgie is only moderately active so she would be great in an apartment or a house. She loves to lay in a cat tree so its important her new home has one! She also likes to play in a cat tunnel and lay in a big cat bed.

Georgie is currently eating both canned and dry food, but loves canned food.

ADOPTION FEE $25. FOSTERED IN GURNEE, IL

Her adoption will take place at the Gurnee PetSmart.

Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
We rarely get kittens of any breed. If we do, they will be listed in the “Available for Adoption” section. We can only hold cats for ONE WEEK. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT A CAT NOW, PLEASE WAIT TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Please remember that our cats are located in various foster homes in 6 different midwestern states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota). We do adopt to people out of state but WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR CATS. You must pick up the cat in person at the foster home. You cannot send a representative. So, you would be looking at a road trip or plane ride. If you cannot do this, please DO NOT APPLY. We do not keep a waiting list for any breeds. Please be sure that you are interested in a specific cat on the “Available for Adoption” page before filling out an application. YOU MUST FILL OUT EVERY SPACE OF THE ADOPTION APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED. Please note: we will contact your vet to make sure your other animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations. Please notify your vet and give them permission to release your information to SPCR.
