Georgie's Story

Allow us to introduce Georgie, a 4-year-old male feline rescued from a hoarder situation. As one of the few remaining cats from his original group, he has developed close relationships with many cats during his stay. Currently, Georgie serves as a mentor within the colony of cats, watching over his friends and showing affection towards them. Although initially reserved, Georgie gradually warms up to new individuals, especially when given the opportunity to initiate contact. All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
