Georgie's Story

"Georgie is a one-of-a-kind girl with a big personality and an even bigger curiosity about the world around her. This gorgeous grey and brown medium-haired beauty is silly with a playful spirit that keeps life interesting. She's always on the lookout for what's happening next-whether that's chasing a string toy, peering out the window, or investigating whatever you're doing (because clearly, it's her business too!). She loves to be by her humans and and likes to chat while she explores and plays.

Like many cats, she needs a little time to adjust to new sights and sounds. Rescued from outdoors just before a winter storm, she's very grateful to now be warm, safe, and cared for. Georgie is great with her litter box and likes to have multiple types of scratching posts, catnip, and any type of toy she can chase. She also loves to eat!

Georgie would do best as the only cat in the home, where she can truly shine as the center of attention. While she hasn't met dogs or kids in our care, her independent nature suggest she'd thrive in a quieter home with humans that have experience with cats. She isn't a lap cat, but she does love to lay right beside you and show affection in many ways-like gently licking your hands or feet, giving playful little nibbles, rubbing against your legs, and greeting you at the door when you come home or walk in the room.

Currently on Gabapentin to help manage her anxiety, Georgie is looking for an understanding adopter who will give her time to settle in and feel safe. In return, you'll get an endlessly entertaining, loving, talkative companion who keeps you smiling with her curious, energetic charm."

Georgie is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

Adoption Fee: $275 + applicable tax

MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you'd like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking "Apply for Adoption".
