Georgia's Story
Georgia is a beautiful marble tabby who came in with a tuxedo cat named Ginny. They were both very skittish for the first several months, because they were found and caught as strays. Ginny has since been adopted, and nowadays, Georgia is still very alert around strangers who get close. Although she gets scared when you get too close to her face, if you give her some loving in the right spots (such as along her back and on the back of her head, away from her face and in a way where she is not directly facing you), she will easily warm up to you. Just make sure she is not in a box or other enclosed space. If you get on her good side and earn her trust, it is truly a delight to hear her purr! Shelter Adoption Hours: Tuesday & Saturday: 11:00am until 4:00pm.
