George's Story

Meet George

George is a handsome 1-year-old black cat with a big personality and a little bit of a “dog” side to him! He can be territorial around other cats and their scents, so he’ll need some time and patience as he adjusts to a new environment. Once he feels safe and comfortable, though, his sweet and funny personality really starts to shine.

George is very vocal with his favorite person and loves a good head scratch. One of his cutest tricks is putting his front paws up on your chest when you pat your chest—almost like he’s asking to be picked up!

George is a cat who knows what he likes. He can become overstimulated during petting and may give a gentle swat to let you know he’s had enough. He’s not trying to be mean—he just has a very clear way of communicating his boundaries.

With patience, understanding, and a little time to build trust, George can become a wonderful and entertaining companion.

Apply to adopt here
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAE/Cat67

***Please apply using either of these links: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAE/Dog https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAE/Cat We usually try to process applications within 48 hours. Don't worry if the pet you are interested in gets removed from Petfinder in the meantime, we will move pets to "adoption pending" at times when processing applications. If you have not heard back from Pawsibilities within 72 hours, please feel free to contact us at Calliepawsibilities@gmail.com for an update. ***Please if you have a current or previous vet, list the vet's name and contact number as this will make the process quicker; maybe even call the vet's office to let them know they can provide information to us as many vet clinics need pre-approval from their clients. ***Please provide us with the name the vet records would be under (human name and furry friend) if those names differ from the names on he application. ***If it's a weekend or holiday, you can send copies of your records to us by email at Calliepawsibilities@gmail.com so we don't have to delay the process by waiting for the vet office to open. We do adopt out of state in many circumstances; when this occurs we do prefer our adopters come meet their adoptive furry family member in person. However, we do transport to other states as well and the adopter covers any transport charges. ***We are a foster-based program only so there is no physical facility. ***We do prefer to have an application on file before setting up Meet and Greets.
