George's Story

George - Male DOB 4/9/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Black and White Tuxedo

George came to us from NC with his mom Zuzu but they weren't bonded and Zuzu has found her forever home - now it's George's turn to find his home. Zuzu came to us from a southern shelter, very pregnant, and soon after gave birth to three kittens. Sadly, only George survived—but this little tuxedo boy was the joy of her heart while they were at their southern foster home.

George has been shining as all kittens should, full of kitten energy, running, climbing, and even chewing up cardboard boxes just for fun. He adores tunnels and toys, and when he’s not zooming around, he’s looking for pets from the humans around him.

George will need to go home with another playful kitty or to a home with a kitty looking for a playmate. He has become buddies recently with another cat, Yeti, who they seem to enjoy each other and playing together which would make them a great pair to go home together. He also would do well with any of the playful kittens at the rescue. It shouldn't take him too long to adjust to his new surroundings, but once he does he's the sweet kitten that loves attention. He would probably be ok with a cat-friendly dog with a slow introduction and older children who have been around cats before and know when to give them space.

Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.
