George's Story

Neutered. UTD vaccines. Combo negative. Microchipped.

Ready to add a mini tiger to your home…

This is George. He’s a handsome hunk who loves his food and loves lounging.

This guy was brought into the shelter in March 2023 when one of our fosters was present. He was being surrendered. This surrender tugged at our fosters heart because Georgy’s mom was truly doing what was best for him, she was keeping him safe. Mom had adopted him about 6 months ago from the shelter and was truly heart-broken giving him up, even though she knew it was best. The foster got to speak with her and told her she would be taking Georgy home. She had no words.

George has a very chill cat like personality. He watches from a far until he wants attention. He loves his foster cat friends (seems to prefer male cats) and would likely be good with dogs (we have seen short interactions). He really doesn’t pay them much attention and stays to himself. He has been around kids in short spurts. Loud is not is thing. His foster home is quiet. However he is not mean or aggressive. He will just want to keep to himself if kids are loud and try to go after him. Very typical behavior of many cats/animals. Gotta respect their space and let them come to you :)

If you are interested in adopting George please email us at mesquiteanimalpawtners@gmail.com

George has been fully vetted (neuter, vaccinated, including rabies, microchipped, and combo tested) and ready to go home.
