George's Story
George is a beautiful long-haired gray gentleman looking for a warm lap. He's a bit reserved at first, but once he feels safe, George just wants to be your snuggle buddy. He loves to curl up for a nap on a lap. He also has huge furry feet, a big purr, and a comically tiny meow.

George is A+ using the litter box and loves canned food. He will eat as much canned food as his fosters are willing to give him, plus all the other cats' too.

George came to us from a hoarding situation and is truly looking for a second chance at the life he deserves. He's growing out a haircut, and is working on getting to a healthy weight. He's has had some digestive issues in his foster home and we suspect he has irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). He is currently on a special diet and a course of medication, and these have helped a lot. IBS is a chronic condition that will likely require a special diet and other management.

George is really gentle with people, including kids, but noisy children scare him. He would probably do best in a quieter household. He gets along well with other cats and is likely good with dogs too. He just likes everyone as long as they want to be his friend (and preferably, share their breakfast).

He always seems to have a smile on his face, in spite of all he's been through. If you're looking for a gentle soul to offer comfort, companionship, and a true redemption story, George may be your perfect match.
Interested in this sweet cat?
