Gentle Soul, Playful Spirit – Meet Tippi

Tippi is a gentle, shy tabby with white markings and captivating eyes. At just about 2 years old, she’s already shown how much love and personality she has, once she feels safe. In her foster home, Tippi has made remarkable progress in only three months. She adores Churu time (it’s her favorite!), and leans right in for chin and head rubs while licking up the treat, happily accepting pets all over her body. And when the Churu comes out, she’ll even hop onto the sofa or her foster’s lap, showing just how brave she’s become.<br/><br/>Tippi is also an independent spirit. She loves stretching out on the big bed, lounging on her cat tree, and spending hours gazing out the window or watching cat TV videos. Her absolute favorite activity, though, is chasing wand toys—she lives for playtime and shows her joy with every pounce and leap. Around other cats, Tippi shines. With a proper slow introduction, she gets along well and enjoys having playful companions, which helps her confidence grow even more.<br/><br/>Her journey hasn’t been easy. Tippi began life trapped in an abandoned house in the Bronx that was set to be demolished. Rescued just in the nick of time, she was sadly moved around and abandoned again, none of it her fault. Understandably, she’s still learning to trust people fully, but her progress over the past few months has been inspiring. Every day, she shows more of her affectionate side—trotting ahead of her foster and rubbing happily against anything in sight as if to say, “I’m so glad to be here, safe and loved.”<br/><br/>Tippi will thrive with an experienced adopter who understands shy cats and is patient enough to let her bloom in her own time. She would love a calm home—especially one with a feline friend to play with.
