Gentle Jupiter

Jupiter is a laid-back, friendly boy who brings a calm, happy energy to the home. Rescued from the Bronx, he’s come a long way and has blossomed into an incredibly easygoing, confident companion.<br/><br/>Jupiter settled into his foster home in just one day, making himself right at home. Since then, he’s shown everyone what a special personality he has. He greets his people anytime they walk into the room with head bumps and affection, and he absolutely loves attention and being close to his humans. He is relaxed with strangers and he doesn’t hide when guests visit.<br/><br/>Jupiter is a friendly cat, he has never so much as hissed, growled, or swatted, despite all of the change he's been through.<br/><br/>While he enjoys playing sometimes, he’s more of a lounge-and-snack kind of guy! He enjoys relaxing in his cat tree and, like many happy cats, loves mealtime. His foster describes him best: “Need a best friend? Jupiter is your guy — easygoing, affectionate, and always happy to see you.”<br/><br/>Jupiter has also shown himself to be very adaptable. He’s been calm around a medium-sized dog and would likely adjust well to many home environments, from quieter households to moderately active ones. He is not a fan of young children, so either an adults only home, or a home with cat experienced teens would be best. We are looking for a home where he can be the feline king of the castle, so no other cats, please.<br/><br/>Jupiter is FIV+. This infection is easily managed and should not prevent him from living a long, normal life. He has been vaccinated against rabies and dewormed, and will be fully vetted before he goes home.
