Genesis

Meet Genesis, a sweet senior girl with a crooked little smile, innocent eyes, and a purr that still roars like an engine despite everything she’s been through. At approximately 11 years old, this beautiful gray patched tabby has faced more than her share of challenges. Originally rescued from beneath a porch during a snowy January, Genesis has endured several changes through no fault of her own. Yet through it all, she has remained gentle, affectionate, and eager to love.

Genesis is looking for a patient, devoted family committed to her care, including regular veterinary visits and health monitoring. She would thrive in a quiet, low-stress home with a predictable routine, as busy environments have caused her stress and digestive upset in the past. She would do best as the only cat or with another calm kitty, and in a home without young children.

Perhaps it’s her crooked little smile that makes her look as though she’s always smirking, or her expressive eyes that seem to tell a thousand stories. But what makes Genesis truly special is how freely she gives her affection. From the moment you meet her, she welcomes you with a love and trust that remain untouched by everything she has endured.

All this sweet girl needs now is a peaceful place to land and someone who will cherish her through her golden years. After everything she’s been through, Genesis deserves nothing less than a forever home where she can finally feel safe, loved, and settled.

Genesis was born approximately March, 2015. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS.

To express an interest in adopting her, you need to fill out our adoption application, including as much detail as possible at https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/. Please be sure that your email address is correct. If your application is accepted, KittyCorner will contact you via email to set up a time for you to come and meet her.

We require a donation of $100 per kitten/cat that will contribute to the cost of veterinary care that the kitten/cat received for all the above-mentioned procedures/treatments.

KittyCorner is a New York State Registered Shelter/Rescue, Registration Number: RR0279.

*All kittycorner.org kittens/cats come with a lifetime cat-back guarantee.
