Gemstone came in malnourished after nursing seven kittens, so she needed some time to gain weight. After a couple of weeks of being on wet food and a calorie supplement, she is happy and healthy! Gemstone still has her motherly instincts and will constantly check on the other adult cats in the room. She is very sweet and is completely litter box trained.<br/><br/>The adoption fee of $50 is a refundable deposit. The adopter will be responsible to have the animal spayed or neutered within 90 days at the clinic of their choosing. If this is completed within the required 90 days the adopter is to submit required documentation that includes a spay/neuter certificate, a receipt for the spay/neuter, and a rabies certificate to get their refund of up to the deposited amount. Spay and Neuter is required for adoption per our adoption contract and by Indiana State Law. We accept cash, card (with a 3% charge), and check.<br/><br/>All adopters must bring a cat carrier, otherwise they will need to purchase one from us for $20. All animals receive a flea and parasite prevention/treatment and will be microchipped.<br/><br/>All animals can go home the same day as adoption. We will need your photo ID and you will sign some documents. Adopters will also receive a copy of the animal's medical history to date. We do not do an application process. All adoptions are first come, first serve. We do not offer holds.
