Gemma - a (boy) cats cat!!'s Story
Does your cat need a cat?

Because Gemma is 100% a cat’s cat.

It’s not that she hates people… it’s just that we may never be her first choice. Or even a choice on the table. 😅

If you can get your hands on her (she’s quick!), she’s actually very sweet — she’ll purr, roll around, and soak up the attention. But ultimately? Other cats are her everything.

Gemma weaves in and out of our big adult boy kitties like she’s their biggest fan. She cuddles them. She idolizes them. She follows her favorite “big brother” everywhere he goes. If your cat is attached to you and always nearby… Gemma will be right there too — just slightly out of reach. 😉

She is not mean. She is not feral. She’s just not particularly interested in being a social butterfly with humans. Gemma came from a home with far too many cats, where individual attention was hard to come by. So she learned early on that if she wanted companionship, other cats were where she’d find it — and she’s never looked back.

She’s one of three siblings, all with different personalities. Her brother is extremely social, her sister is right in the middle, and Gemma is our independent little cat enthusiast.

Gemma is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, treated for parasites, and negative for FIV & FeLV. She was born 5/5/25.

One thing to note: this group has somewhat sensitive GI tracts and can have loose stool during or after stress (like a move to a new home). We would anticipate some adjustment tummy with transition, but she has perfect litterbox habits and is otherwise a happy, healthy, totally normal kitten.

Because she is not a meet-and-greet kind of girl, we are looking for homes in or near Snohomish County — we will bring her to her forever home so she can settle in calmly.

She would absolutely love to be adopted with her sister (a stunning medium-haired black smoke munchkin) if you’re looking for a pair. Gemma herself is an adorable gray & white munchkin with the cutest little legs to match her big cat-loving heart.

If your cat has been wishing for a best friend… Gemma might be the one. 💛

Send a copy of this application if you’re interested in adopting her to SaraNW1103@gmail.com

https://communitycatcoalitionwa.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Pre-adoption-Application.pdf
