Gaza's Story
I'm a young mother who was rescued when I was fully pregnant in June 2020 from being killed at a shelter in Florida. I survived a lot and am now healthy, content, and ready for a forever home for the New Year.

When my six babies were 8 weeks old, they all got sick with a horrible virus. I ended up catching it too. Four of my children died, and I barely survived. This was August 2020.

I was super resilient and got over my sadness and began to thrive soon after being released from the hospital. I spent most of my time with my son, Bubba, and still do hang out with him as he continues to grow and thrive, but I'm also kind of independent and enjoy doing my own thing (like cuddling in hammocks, the bathroom sink, or gently on the livingroom chair).

I've been in a shelter setting with dozens of other cats for more than 6 months now. I respect everyone, I don't get into issues with anyone, and I'm all-around easy going. I get super hyped when it's time to eat, but I'm still respectful (although I will often jump up on the counter when you're making my meal).

I'm usually very quiet and low key. I'm just looking for a nice, comfortable, peaceful home to call my own, either with my son Bubba, or even alone. I think I'd be okay on my own because I find my own happiness on my own when I have to.

Unfortunately, at the shelter, there aren't that many humans there to be affectionate with, but when they do have time for a hug or a cuddle, I'm totally into it. I haven't had the opportunity to really.show how loving I am yet, so I'm hoping that you'll give me that chance!
