Gatsby & Missy Bonded Pair's Story
Meet Gatsby & Missy – A Special Pair Looking for a Home Together 🐾

Gatsby and Missy are a pair of 3-year-old cats with a remarkable story who are hoping to find a forever home together. While they aren’t a tightly bonded pair, Missy does best with familiar companionship, and staying with Gatsby gives her comfort and confidence as she adjusts to new surroundings.
As kittens, both Gatsby and Missy became very ill with feline panleukopenia, a serious and often deadly virus. They fought hard, survived, and went on to be adopted together by a loving family. Recently, due to unforeseen hardships, they were returned to us through no fault of their own. Now they’re ready for a stable, loving home where they can finally settle in for good.
They previously lived in a home with small children and did well in that environment. They are, however, unfamiliar with dogs, so a dog-free home or a very slow, thoughtful introduction would be best.
✨ About Gatsby Gatsby is a handsome grey-and-white long-haired male with a wonderfully mellow temperament. He’s easygoing, affectionate, and enjoys being near his people. He adapts easily and is the kind of cat who brings a calming presence to the home.
✨ About Missy Missy is a short-haired brown tabby with a strong personality and a soft heart. She’s more independent and takes time to warm up to new people. She’s very vocal and loves to communicate, sometimes with expressive meows and occasional hissing — but she has never bitten or shown aggression. With patience and familiarity, she becomes a rewarding and endearing companion.
🎾 Play & Personality Both cats enjoy interactive play with toys and wand teasers and are comfortable in a home environment once settled.
🏡 Why They Should Stay Together Missy finds comfort in consistency, and Gatsby’s calm presence helps her feel more secure in new situations. Keeping them together would make the transition smoother and set them both up for success in their next home.
If you’re someone who understands that some cats need a little extra time — and that it’s worth it — Gatsby and Missy would love to meet you.

Please contact Gatsby and Missy's foster mom Tammy at 612-245-4823 or email at tammygeiken@gmail.com

Adoption fee for both is $335.
