Gatsby's Story
Meet Gatsby — The Great Gatsby, if you please!
Hello, darlings. My name’s Gatsby — a big, handsome gray-and-white gentleman with the most kissable cheeks you’ve ever seen. (Yes, I’ve been told they’re “Tom cheeks.” I think that means irresistible.)

Life wasn’t always this glamorous for me. I spent a long time surviving outdoors, learning to be cautious of the world around me. When I first arrived at the sanctuary, I was scared — truly scared. It took the wonderful humans here a long time to earn my trust. But now? I’m one of the first to greet visitors at the door, ready to charm them with my squishy face and soft purrs.
These days, I absolutely adore visitors. I’ll trot right up, politely asking for a few pets, a head scratch (or two), and maybe — just maybe — one of those delicious lickable treats I love so much. That’s the secret to my heart, you know.

When I’m not greeting guests, you’ll find me soaking up sunshine, snuggling with my feline friends, playing with a catnip banana, or batting around toy mice like a refined gentleman of leisure. I’m a cozy bed connoisseur and a master of the art of relaxation.

When I move to my forever home, I might be shy at first — old habits and all — but please be patient with me. Once I know I’m safe, my sweet, affectionate side will shine brighter than a chandelier at a Gatsby party.
If you’d like to meet me (and you should), stop by the sanctuary any day between 1–5 PM. I’ll be waiting at the door, ready to say hello.

Love,?Gatsby
?The Great (and Gentle) Gatsby

I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

If you are interested in adopting Gatsby, please message us on Facebook at Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary or email us at FurballFarmCatSanctuary@gmail.com
