Luck was on their side! Like his namesake, Gandalf started out imperious and not thrilled about being captured. But over time, he’s learned to trust and now purrs contentedly when picked up. He’ll likely always have a little curmudgeon charm (he even grumbles at Frodo sometimes), but that’s part of his personality.<br/><br/>Gandalf may take time to adjust, but his foster parents suspect he’ll become more of a lap cat than his brother. We have potential adopters complete an application, prioritizing the following standards: - That their household allows pets, and that everyone in their household agrees to a new pet. - Keeping their new cat indoors. - A commitment to never declaw their cat. We also allow foster to adopt scenarios. In this case, a potential adopter could foster a pet for no longer than two weeks to see if they are a good fit for their household. Upon approval, we have them sign an adoption agreement, release medical records, and ask them to pay an adoption fee.
