Gallium's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

Meet Gallium – a tiny but mighty little guy who somehow manages to be wild, playful, and a total cuddle bug all at once. Gallium is confident, social, and basically your new shadow - he’ll follow you everywhere around the house just to see what you’re up to. He’s always ready for playtime and absolutely lives for wand toys, anything with bells or feathers, and those bouncy spring toys. But fair warning: when it comes to wand toys, Gallium takes his hunting very seriously. Once he “catches” his prey, he proudly carries it off to another room and will even growl if you try to take it back. Sharing? Not his thing. It’s equal parts hilarious and impressive. As much as he loves to play, Gallium is just as passionate about cuddle time. He’s a full-on lap cat and a big believer in long, uninterrupted snuggle sessions. And belly rubs? YES, PLEASE. He has the softest little belly and will dramatically flop onto the floor in front of you whenever he wants them - which is ALL THE TIME! And food? Also YES, PLEASE. Gallium is obsessed with his wet food and goes absolutely bananas the second he sees his bowl. You’d think he hadn’t eaten in a week every single time - but don’t be fooled, he’s just a bit of a drama king. Gallium does well with other cats and MUST have a cat friend in his new home to keep him company.

Born in foster care, Gallium is the last of his littermates still waiting for his forever home at last. He’s more than ready to find his person (and his cat buddy).

Gallium is looking for a home that can keep up with his perfect routine: lots of playtime, lots of cuddles, plenty of belly rubs, and, of course, a snack in between.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
