Galileo's Story
GALILEO is a male-neutered short hair tabby/calico cat, born about March 2021. We have no details of his early life. His owner of four years very reluctantly surrendered him to YAPS late Jan. 2026. Their family with two babies living in an apartment had created financial, space, & time issues caring for him. Per the prior owner: "Galileo is a great cat - loves to cuddle and be near you all the time; he's very calm & gentle - good with children and other cats." We find him to be: stressed from the recent loss of his prior home, so he may or may not come to you for affection. But he really likes being petted in his resting place - may "knead biscuits" in appreciation. With a gentle approach, he loves being picked up, and held in your lap/arms as long as you wish. He gets along well with other cats. When adopted, he should initially be placed in a "safe room", to gradually adjust to his new surroundings
