Gabriel's Story
Gabriel has to be one of the sweetest boys in the world! This approximately five-year-old boy (born in summer 2019) just loves, loves, loves to cuddle! He is the consummate lap cat -- laps, shoulders, any kind of human body contact is good as far as Gabriel is concerned. He also sleeps with his foster mom every night. He enjoys playing with wand toys and gets along well with other cats. Gabriel was diagnosed with epilepsy and is on a daily medication to prevent seizures (the cost is approximately $10 a month). He is also on a prescription urinary care diet: as Gabriel had to have surgery last year to remove bladder stones, it's very important he remain on a prescription urinary diet to help prevent stones from forming in the future. We're adopting Gabriel on a medical scholarship that will cover one annual wellness exam and urinalysis per year. We will also provide a two-month supply of food to get him started! We know Gabriel has some special needs, but he is a very, very special cat--his future family will be very lucky to have him!
