Gabby & Zane's Story
Gabby & Zane are a pair of siblings that just love each other so much they decided they needed to stay together. They both start out pretty suspicious of new people but do warm up. Gabby is a bossy gal who likes things her way and makes sure everyone treats her with the level of respect she deserves. Zane has always been a shy guy but that is ok Gabby, and all of us, love him just the same.

Gabby and Zane spent some time in a home but ended up finding their way back to us. Upon their return it was discovered that Zane had been dealing with untreated urinary crystals for months. We were so sad to find out that our boy was so uncomfortable but we got right to work with our vet to get him feeling better. We put both of these sweet kiddos on a special urinary diet and he is doing much better. Their new family will need to make sure to keep them on a diet that works for Zane's urinary needs. They will need to work with their vet to make sure they both stay as happy and healthy as possible.

Gabby and Zane have successfully shared space with other cats in the past so respectful cat siblings should be fine. When they were young they spent time in a foster home and while they had dogs in the home they did not interact with them. So they know what dogs sound like but haven't come face to face with them. We think that they could maybe live with quiet, cat savvy, respectful dogs but introductions would have to be slow, especially for Zane. We do think they would prefer to be in a dog free home though. Older children who understand to give them their space would be ok.

Gabby and Zane are around 1 year old as of 6/5/25.

The adoption fee for a pair of cats is $200 and includes distemper vaccine, rabies, dewormer, flea treatment, spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV Combo test and microchip.

If you would like to potentially adopt these cats please either email catadoption@lunashouse.org for more information or complete the application online using the link on the main adoptable cats page on the website.
