Furrgie (Courtesy Listing)'s Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Furrgie is not currently up for adoption at our shelter - instead we are helping owner, Kayla, by listing her as a Courtesy Listing in hopes we can help the owner find someone that will welcome Furrgie into their home! Kayla's (owner) contact info is down below for anyone potentially interested.

Meet Furrgie!

Furrgie is a sweet 5.5‑year‑old girl who is spayed and up to date on her rabies vaccine. She has the gentlest personality and loves giving soft little face nuzzles. She’ll happily follow you around—yes, even to the bathroom—and she usually sleeps either on my pillow or snuggled up on the bunk bed with my son.

Furrgie truly thrives when she can be the only pet in the home. Being around other cats or dogs makes her very anxious, and that stress has caused some litter box issues. She has been seen by the vet, and there are no medical concerns contributing to this—it's simply her stress level around other animals. When she’s in a calm, animal‑free space, she uses her litter box consistently. She’s currently staying in a quiet room in the garage where she’s completely separate from other pets, and she does great there. Hearing her cry for human affection breaks my heart—I know she just wants someone she can bond with.

In a peaceful home with no other pets, I’m certain her snuggly side will shine even brighter. She may even rediscover her playful side once she feels safe again. She also loves being up high, so a cozy perch or cat tree would make her very happy.

Furrgie deserves a loving home where she can truly relax and be adored.
If you think you might be her person, please reach out!

Contact Kayla:
Text preferred: 319â€𣧫â€
kaylad89@aol.com
