Rescued literally from ashes as a feral cat during Ruidoso's horrific fires and floods, Fuego is now the ideal house-buddy- available for lifetime adoption to indoor homes only. Fuego (smoke in Spanish) quickly adjusts to dogs, cats and people, and is bonded to his little buddy kitten, Phoenix. Fuego is just over a year old, and Phoenix is 6 months. Phoenix learned to be a housecat and to love people, dogs and cats- all from Fuego, who is now his big brother and total mentor.
