Fudge's Story

If you would like to meet Fudge, please read through his full bio, then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and to schedule an on-site appointment. www.ggohinc.com

Fudge came to us as part of one of several litters we accepted during one of our busiest kitten seasons - all of the kittens from that season have been adopted - Fudge still waits for his forever someone to come for him. Why is that you ask - well, Fudge is a unique fella with some specific needs. As we like to be totally up-front with all information about our rescues, we'll tell you why.

First, Fudge has a quiet, mellow, shy type of personality and because of this, he's not always noticed by visitors - do we point him out, sure we do, but having to first find him sometimes turns people off (he loves to bury himself under blankets). Second, Fudge needs to be kept on a certain type of diet as his belly gets upset when he's not. After some trial and error, we have found that Fudge does best on "Blissful Belly" by Blue - it's a little more expensive than plain, run-of-the-mill cat chow but it keeps his belly just as the name states, blissful. While it is a higher quality food, it really isn't that expensive when fed properly and when only one cat is eating it. Third, due to his shy personality, we feel Fudge would do best in a home where the activity level is low - too much excitement is not his thing. He does like to play and the laser is one of his favorites, but he really does do best in a quieter environment. (How do we know this? Well, we have multiple rooms at our facility with various environments and he's been happiest in one of our quieter rooms.)

So, all that being said, if you are a single person or a couple with a relatively low-key lifestyle, Fudge would likely thrive in your care. Oh, and one last thing, Fudge gets along fabulously with other cats and hasn't really paid too much attention to the dogs we've had him around.

We know that Fudge is a special case and he's not the type of cat that is everyone's cup-of-tea, but he is a fabulous cat and we know his person(s) is out there - we just need to find them. If by chance you've stumbled upon our sweet boy's profile and it has you wanting to know more, why not take a chance and stop in and meet him - perhaps he is the purrfect cat for you!

Fudge's approx. DOB is 4/15/2022.
