Fuchsia's Story

Fuchsia is a beautiful kitty with a sleek, black coat. Our vet estimates that she is around two years old. Fuchsia is a sweet girl who can be a little nervous with new people or loud noises. However, she warms up quickly and enjoys being patted. She gets along very well with other cats and has been living in our cage-free room, where she always welcomes new kitties. Fuchsia has been diagnosed with epilepsy and must take medication twice a day. She has not had any seizures since starting on the medication. She is looking for an adopter who is comfortable giving oral medication (she is very good about taking it) and is willing to provide her with regular vet care to monitor her health. She has a lot of love to give and has been at the Shelter for nine months patiently waiting for a home. She is spayed and fully vetted. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting. If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
