Frodo's Story

Frodo
M, 8 months

True to his namesake, Frodo is a shy young man who is quite brave and resilient. He's come a long way since entering his foster home. In addition to melting your heart on a daily basis with his adorable faces and noises, Frodo loves to play and explore with his brother Samwise. He's still a bit shy when it comes to pets and cuddles, but he has a solid purr that starts up after some gentle cheek and ear pets. This cutie likes high places, and loves to be on top of the cat tower or sitting in a window.

Frodo also loves Churu and will happily eat a whole one while you hold it. He engages in some human play (his favorite is lightly biting a string on a stick) but he prefers automated toys. His favorite form of play right now is wrestling with his brother, who is the same age but acts as his protector. That said, he is a fairly chill kitten who enjoys everything in moderation.

Frodo is curious about other cats and with slow introductions could get along with cats who respect his need to lay low sometimes. A quieter home, older kids, and dogs who are more mellow and more so leave him alone would be ideal. He would love to go home with his brother Samwise, but it is not required.

Frodo is neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adding this sweet boy to your family, please fill out the adoption application on our website
