Frito was adopted from us when he was about 7 months old. This past August, Frito was surrendered back to us as his owner said she could no longer afford to keep him on her salary. Even though we offered to assist her, she no longer wanted him. We were happy to have him back and are now getting to know him all over again. Frito is a nice cat who loves being brushed and petted. Although he gets along with most of the cats in the shelter, we believe he would be best as an only cat. He is still a bit skittish in the shelter, but we are sure that he will be fine once he is back into a forever home. A potential adopter must be sure to understand that going from a home back into shelter life, no matter how loving it is, does take some time for them to adjust.
