Friskie's Story

Hi there. My name is Friskie. I wasn't much bigger than my little buddy Mittens here when someone put me in a carrier and left me all by myself. As you can imagine, I was very scared and confused, so I was pretty "frisky" with the nice people at Mewtopia when they took me in. I felt kind of bad about being hissy with them when they were just trying to help me, but after being betrayed by someone I thought loved me, I was afraid to trust and have my heart broken again. But you know what? I've learned that there are lots of good people out there who truly love kitties. I see them every day at Mewtopia, and they have helped me to trust again. Maybe even one day I'll go home with a human of my own who knows kitties are forever.

Mewtopia Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
When you visit our adoption center, we will ask you to complete a quick sheet regarding the age cat you would like to adopt, number and ages of children in the home, number of adults, and pets in your home. An adoption counselor will review the sheet with you and accompany you to the cat room(s). If you find a cat you'd like to adopt, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Application, which will be reviewed by one of our adoption counselors, and either our adoption coordinator or director for approval. Once approved, you can hold the cat with a deposit or pay the entire adoption fee and arrange to pick your cat up on a specific day. All cats must leave Mewtopia in a carrier. Mewtopia reserves the right to deny any adoption.
