FRIEDA's Story

FRIEDA is a wonderfully spunky girl who is very smart but a little stressed right now since being rescued. She's extremely affectionate when she is confident of her surroundings, but doesn't like change and takes a couple weeks to adjust to new surroundings. She got her name from the Friedrich AC unit in the picture she was perched on when she was rescued from the streets of Hell's Kitchen. If you have the patience and compassion to take the time with Frieda she's a very loving if quirky cat who deserves a break. She's alternately very independent and doesn't require a lot of attention but then loves interactive play and attention when it's offered and sometimes is in your face demanding attention. She's all bluff when she's acting out her confusion and stress in between love fests on her foster's lap. She'll swat your foot if you surprise her walking by too quickly but nothing familiarity and a routine doesn't make disappear. She's a strong personality for someone who is up to a short term "project" for a long-term faithful companion. Frieda was fostered with a frisky small dog and they got along fine.

If interested, please contact Mike Phillips at urbancatleague@gmail.com
