Frida Khalo's Story

Frida can be a very nervous baby, she has warmed up a lot since she originally came into the shelter. Frida can be a little feisty at times, she likes to slap your hands to initiate play. She will need a bit of time to warm up when she's in home, she can be a bit nervous in new environments. <br/>Her best home will be one where it is a bit of the more quiet side where she can have plenty of space to roam and hide on her own.

Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga, TN's Adoption Policy

DOG ADOPTIONS: $50 including microchip, DAPPv & bordetella vaccines, heartworm test, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccine. Puppies 6 months and under $100. CAT ADOPTIONS: $50 including microchip, FVRCP vaccine, FIV/FeLV test, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccine Please note that puppies and kittens under 3 months of age do not receive a rabies vaccine. Puppies under 6 months of age are too young for a heartworm test and kittens under 4 months of age are too young for an FIV/FeLV test. Animals already spayed or neutered may leave with you upon approval of your adoption application. Animals NOT spayed or neutered will be scheduled for surgery at the time of adoption. The animal must be spayed or neutered before going home. All adoptions also include 30 days of opt-in Pet Insurance. Our shelter is open to the public. Open 12pm-5pm Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
