MEET FRIDA! I'm looking for a home that... - is low traffic/quiet, - adult only or possibly respectful teens/older, and - has no other pets. Frida was described as sweet and calm by her previous owner and she has enjoyed gentle affection while in our care at the shelter. We think she would thrive in a quiet household with people who will patiently allow her to adjust to her new home. Having some cat experience would be a bonus. If Frida sounds like a good fit for you and your home, please stop by to meet her! Frida is currently up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative, has been spayed, microchipped, and examined by our vet team. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
