Freya's Story

Looking for a kitty with a unique backstory? Freya was found on highway 288 after falling out from the undercarriage of a car! Good Samaritans stopped and were able to call Animal Protection to come help her. Remarkably, Freya had no injuries - just worn down claws from the pavement. Freya has since been spayed, chipped, and fully vetted. She is a friendly lady who would love a home where she never has to worry about falling out onto a highway again. Can it be with you?

Goochland Animal Protection's Adoption Policy

All of the animals at our shelter leave with age appropriate vaccinations and many have been spayed/neutered. If they haven't, you will sign a contract stating that the animal you are adopting will be fixed. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested. Animal are also dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. Adoption Fees: Dogs: $90 Cats: $75
